Olive pomace is a by-product of the olive oil extraction process consisting of pulps, peels and peanut fragments. Currently there are machines for the treatment of pomace that separate the water, the husks and the pulp from the pits. The latter is presented as an excellent fuel: ideal for powering boilers, fireplaces, stoves, burners, ovens and all types of multi-fuel boilers. It can be an excellent alternative to pellets or wood chips.
The heating power given by its combustion is very high: it is around 6.2 / 7.4 Kw / Kg. Having a higher specific weight than other biomass, energy production is greater. Furthermore, while reducing the production of fumes and ash, it guarantees less maintenance and a longer life to the boilers.
